2008 Back-to-School Kit The Back-to-School season is the best time to promote PTA and prepare for a successful year. Parents are excited about the opportunities the new school year brings for their children, and they haven’t yet gotten caught up in the whirl of school activities. Take this opportunity to invite parents and other family members to join your PTA and get involved in promoting every student’s success.

The PTA Back-to-School Kit—one of your greatest prizes as a PTA leader—gives you:

The tools you need to increase membership.
Resources to help you plan programs throughout the year that meet the needs and interests of your community.
Leadership resources to help you and your leadership team run an effective unit.

The 2008 PTA Back-to-School Kit is sponsored by Clorox, a Proud National Sponsor of PTA.

Your unit should receive its Back-to-School kit between mid-July and mid-August via UPS. If you have not received the kit by the end of August and your contact information was updated by your state’s deadline, then contact the national PTA office at info@pta.org or (800) 307-4PTA (4782). Units in the following states will be receiving the kit in a different manner, and unit leaders in these states should contact their state PTA office for information on receiving the kit: Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, and Rhode Island.
